		CUT COPY (DJ SET) At a time where the marriage between dance and rock is neighboring inevitable, Cut Copy walk the line as pioneers of the new sound movement. Their 2008 return, In Ghost Colours delivers both timelessness and forward thinking as the trio embarks on the next phase of their acclaimed career. Haunted with machines of the past and sounds of the future, In Ghost Colours inhabits the space in time where trends are irrelevant and 1969 is as important as 2020. Both electronic and organic, Cut Copy have crafted a record filled with glorious sounds and moods, unabashed pop song structures with hooks and melodies for eons. Since their first album, ‘bright like neon love’ they have been a crew to watch out for. Their skills will be on show as they treat us to a special dj set at Ozfest.

		JUGGERNAUTS DJS Midnight Juggernauts have already released two critically acclaimed EPs in their canon of work: Raised By Wolves in 2005 and last year's Secrets Of The Universe (now sold out of its fourth pressing). Along the way the original duo of Vincent (keys/vox) and Andy (guitars/vox) toured the UK and Europe, joined festival line-ups for Parklife, Homebake, Laneway and Future Music, and were called upon to remix a dazzling array of artists. They've worked their studio magic on !!! (Chk Chk Chk), The Presets, Electric Six, KIM, Dragonette, and VHS vs Beta, with the remixes finding homes on compilations including Kitsune Maison and Fabriclive - and shared stages with acts as diverse as MSTRKRFT, Death From Above 1979, and Pixies. The latest welcome addition is Daniel Strickland (Drums/vox) We are honoured to have them play a DJ set for us at Ozfest.

		GRAFTON PRIMARY (LIVE) Grafton Primary’s debut EP, ‘Relativity’ was released in September 2007; the title track turning a lot of heads with its marriage of love and science, pop and ‘ye olde wave’. It secured months of solid airplay on Triple J and led to their selection for the station’s “Next Crop” promotion. In addition, Grafton Primary have remixed Faker, Via Tanya and more recently, the Dukes Of Windsor. The remix of ‘This Heart Attack’ received extensive radio and club play and led to an invitation to tour with Faker. The newest slice of pizza, “She Knows it” has won them a whole slew of fans across a wide spectrum and has now seen them tour the country with the largest festivals, and this Australia Day weekend, you can catch them at OzFest!

		BLACK ANGUS (SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM) Black Angus is the original dj/producer and musical genius behind the sounds and success of Australia's dyanmic pop band Sneaky Sound System. Black being an original member of SNEAKY has being an integral part the band with MC Double D who met in 2001 at a costume party. The guys produced HIP HIP HOORAY together and have since taken the band to the world stage. In Australia their chart smashing self titled album SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM hit double platinum status. www.sneakysoundsystem.com

		VAN SHE TECH Van She Tech are the direct spawn of one of Sydney's most successful bands - VAN SHE. Michael and Nicky's discography reads like a Who's who of the international electro scene, chalking up remixes for artists such as Ladyhawke, NYPC, Utah Saints, The Klaxons, Sneaky Sound System and more. Their ability behind the One's and Two's has seen them grown in popularity each time they step out and lay their unique French electro sound on the town. DO NOT miss these boys.

		THE STAFFORD BROTHERS (QLD) If the sibling duo of electro house DJs the Stafford Brothers doesn’t ring a bell, then one must wonder where you’ve been hiding for the past few years. Signed to Ministry of Sound and playing the biggest venues and Festivals in Australia, There is no stopping The Stafford Brothers Juggernaut. Recently crowned number 2 in Sony’s Inthemix top 50, this pair are a whole lot of mischief and a whole lot of party. Not content with just tearing it up on local dance floors, The Staffords have spent a lot of time overseas, showing the rest of the world how to party..

		AJAX (Bang Gang / Sweat it Out) Technics In The Mix No.1 Australian Dj 2007 and 2006, Allen & Heath DMA Best Australian DJ and Best Mixed CD 2006, 3d World Dj of the Year 2002, 2004, 2005, Ajax’ Art Killing had hit new heights. Busy Ps Best Dj of 2007 (XLR8R), Digitalism's best dj of 2007 (BIGSHOT) and Justice's One to Watch in 2008 (DJ MAGAZINE). Fabric (London) pay him occasionally as do Showcase (Paris) for some spot cleaning, he no longer borrows money from his mum. His ego has spiralled out of control and bent his pop making; remixing Princess Superstar, Midnight Juggernauts, The Emergency, Naive New Beaters, and the Valentinos.

Recognised as Australia’s leading Trance DJ, most people are unaware of Tyson Illingworth’s ability and eclectic talent. Not wanting to be pigeon holed into an particular Genre, this is your chance to catch Tydi exclusively in Sydney in a progressive mood.

		The Aston Shuffle (MOS) The Aston Shuffle will twist you into all kinds of positions, but they love to be on top. Recently climbing all the way to #1 in the Aria charts with their worldwide hit ‘For Everyone’ which remained at the front for 5 consecutive weeks. Their remix of Pnau’s ‘Baby’ also held the coveted #1 for 7 consecutive weeks, giving them two top ten singles in the chart at the same time. No Australian based super android duo has ever achieved this in Aria music history.Their dynamic nu-Rave has been shot all over the faces of clubbers worldwide in all its different guises. They have toured both country wide and internationally to support the likes of Digitalism, Justice & Busy P, Switch, Sinden, Dj Falcon, Claude Von Stroke, Axwell, Deadmau5, Twocker, Miles Dyson, James Zabiela.

		Sam La More (MOS) Sam is best known locally for his production work with TONITE ONLY, but has also produced records for Gwen Stefani, P Diddy, Nelly Furtardo and more. Pretty impressive already. Sam has also co-written and produced The Potbelleez 2 chart topping hits "Dont hold back" and "Are you with me". Most impressively of late, Sam has been a massive part of PNAU's roaring succes and ride to the top. he has co-written and produced a number of tracks from their latest album and also been on extensive tours with the band as their support act. Yet another of Australia’s best on the Oz FEST lineup.

		Andy Van (Vicious Recordings) Andy Van is one of the vibrant Melbourne club scene's most influential figures thanks to more than a decade as a top flight DJ, his role as one of the founders of the Vicious Vinyl label and his production and remix work. Along the way he's remixed Norman Cook and Pendulum's ARIA Award-winning oma? and notched up some major worldwide club hits, most notably Blackout's "Gotta Have Hope", before striking gold with Madison Avenue. Since then Andy has gone on to find ‘Vandalism’. A cool electro pop act with a cutting edge knack for making some of the best remixes around.

		Grant Smillie (TV Rock) Grant Smillie can lay claim to be being a part of one of Australia’s most influential electronic acts : TV ROCK. They are arguably Australia’s biggest ever dance export. With heavyweights such as Axwell, Laidback Luke, and Dirty South all rating them highly. They burst on to the scene with their ARIA winning single, “Flaunt it” in 2005, and followed it up closely with another award winning remix of “The Others”. Grant has enjoyed individual success as a Onelove and Famous resident, making an impact from the moment he stepped onto the scene, mixing numerous best selling compilations for Ministry of Sound.

		Hook N Sling (MOS) Anthony Maniscalco – aka : Hook N Sling, has been one of Australias most successful dance music imports. From his collaboration with Kid Kenobi for “The Bump” which James Zabeila was using as his encore record, to his remix of Sarah Mcleod “He doesn’t love you” which put him on the map, his consistency has been undeniable. 2009 looks set to be a big year for Hook N Sling – So don’t miss out on a performance that will blow your mind.

		Seany B Whilst best known for providing the bassy vocals and spicy lyrics for TV Rock’s contagious hit Flaunt It, which topped the ARIA charts for 5 weeks and went on to scoop two ARIA awards for Best Dance Single as well as Highest Selling Single at last years awards, Seany B is no newcomer to the dance scene. In addition to providing no less than three rockin’ tunes on the acclaimed TV Rock album Sunshine City, including the neo – ‘90s Hip House Is Back, Seany B had previously created and fronted the wildly popular underground posse Dirty Laundry and was a regular on the club scene.

		Tommy Trash (MOS) The reputation of Tommy Trash as a party starter has made more than a few stand up and take notice. His very own originals “Slide”, “Lover Lover” and his combination with Goodwill for “It’s a swede thing” have firmly implanted Tommy’s name in lights. Tommy has a huge catalogue of remixes as well, for names such as Armand Van Helden, Tom Novy, Green Velvet and Micky Slim. Rarely playing a track in its original form – you don’t want to miss a Tommy Trash DJ set…

		Timmy Trumpet Having multiple WORLD WIDE tours under his horn, including performances at IBIZA’S PACHA (voted No.2 best club in the world, Dance Music Awards 04/05) and LONDON’S MINISTRY OF SOUND (No.3), Timmy Trumpet has stamped his name as arguably one of Australia’s best DJ side kicks. And is this wasn’t enough - He took his electro symphony a step further by becoming the worlds first DJ & TRUMPET COMBINED ARTIST which is creating even more hype and landed him residencies at clubs such as Tank (Sydney), Platinum (Gold Coast), Monastery (Brisbane), Metropolis (Perth), Dragon Fly (Kings Cross!!) as well as Opera, Cargo and Cabana bars.

		MDX (Mark Dynamix) Having deejayed professionally for more than 15 years, Mark is a significant figure in Australian dance music culture. To date, he has 26 mix CDs, 4 original releases and multiple remixes to his name. With sales fast approaching 2million units, no Australian DJ has sold more compilations. His mix for Ministry of Sound’s "The Annual" became the highest selling compilation in the country ever, dance or otherwise.

		Mind Electric (WA) Kristian Jackson is the brains and brawn behind Mind Electric and is signed to leading home-grown dance label Vicious (Dirty South, Vandalism, The Potbelleez, Madison Avenue). Kristian was first noticed by his “Electrify” single in 2006 and has not looked back with a huge slew of remixes under his belt. Mixing it with the best Jackson has played alongside an impressive list of international performers from D. Ramirez, Carl Cox, Junior Jack & Kid Creme, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Benny Benassi, to locals Dirty South, TV Rock, Grant Smillie, John Course, Sam la More, Hook and Sling, The Potbelleez, Mark Dynamix and Kid Kenobi.

		(Ping Pong DJ's) In Brenden’s 4 year career to date he has already totaled up an impressive tally of international supports which include: Steve Angello, Sebastien leger, Chris lake, Fedde Le Grande, Klaas, Tom Novy, Ferry Corsten, Felix da housecat, The Chemical Brothers, Sven Vath, Roger Sanchez, DJ Falcon, Erick Morillo, Tocadisco, David Guetta, Kaskade, Basement Jaxx, Soul Avengerz, Tom Neville, Stanton Warriors,Eric Laville, Plump Djs, Bob Sinclar, Lawnchair generals, Danny freakazoid, Armin Van Buurin and many more. Brenden is also featuring at major festivals including Future Music Festival, Global Gathering and more, and has been resident at some of the biggest clubs and nights in Sydney including Onelove @ Tank, Kink, Yu, Chinese Laundry, Sounds on Sunday and more.

		Emily Scott (Central Station, FHM) Central Station have released a new dance music compilation called Clublife. While a new mix CD is hardly front page news, this one is a little different. Seems it's been mixed by FHM's Sexiest Woman of 2007, Emily Scott. Currently based in the UK, Scott has graced the covers of more than 23 international magazines in the past year and, after scoring the number one spot in FHM's local list, she went on to be named the UK's ninth sexiest woman. This is a very welcome addition to the Ozfest line up.

		Fowl Play A Fowl Play performance brings the best of many worlds together into a show you won’t forget in a hurry. You can expect to hear a live act with the foulest funky/dirty house and Sexy up-beat electro. They put their mark on a club with live female vocals (Kat Kitsch), crazy MC'ing (Kid MC), and other guest instrumental and vocal performers.
